Maccer is a character who appears as a main character in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. He is the lead singer of the band called The Gurning Chimps, and is shown to be stranded in 1992 while on tour.
Biography
Maccer was born in 1965 in Salford, England. He at some point became the lead singer of The Gurning Chimps and invented a music style what he calls "EXTREMELY BAGGY". He at some point went rather crazy and developed a serious problem with compulsive masturbation.
The Introduction
Maccer is first shown with Kent Paul, after Kent Paul has secured a deal to become the manager of The Gurning Chimps. He acts rather awkward in response to Kent Paul's enthusiasm, before expressing his strong desire to go on tour to America.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Maccer first appeared in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas when The Truth after finding himself in a bathhouse in Los Santos without explanation, requested CJ to investigate a series of strange events after a "peyote safari" went awry. CJ found Maccer and Kent Paul, but none of the other members of The Gurning Chimps. Kent Paul scolded Maccer for the situation they were in, and blamed Maccer for spiking his drink. They had a run-in with some snake farmers who attempted to harm Maccer and Kent Paul, but CJ evaded them and successfully fought them all off before meeting Ken Rosenberg in a Las Venturas hotel and casino. Ken remembers Kent Paul, but does not know Maccer or CJ. Shortly after, Kent Paul and Maccer were taken hostage by Salvatore Leone, and used by him during his attempt to gain stakes in a casino. CJ saves them by using them as "backup" during a fight he was about to have, but they escape Las Venturas and take refuge in Madd Dogg's mansion.
Maccer is then shown in the very last cutscene of the game with Ken Rosenberg, Kent Paul, and Madd Dogg, when Madd Dogg announces to CJ and his friends that he got his first (where Madd Dogg rather says "our") gold record. He bizarrely trumpets that he is going to get breast implants.
