Hovernyan (Japanese: フユニャン Fuyunyan) is one of the deuteragonists of Yo-kai Watch: The Movie and Yo-Kai Watch 2. In the games (specifically Yo-kai Watch 2), he is a Rank B Wind-attribute Rare Yo-kai of the Brave tribe.
He is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch in the English version of the games and the movie.
Appearance
A blue cat Yo-kai with a white chest, muzzle, and paw tips. His nose and inner-ear are dull pink and facial expression is in contrast from most of the Cat Yo-kai. At the center of his forehead is a white scar. He wears a dull gray belt which has a swirled sphere on it, and a long red cloth worn as a cloak. Unlike most Cat Yo-kai, Hovernyan does not have the traditional two tails.
As Meganyan, he still remains the same, but is bigger and has a few mushrooms on his head and eventually back.
Personality
Hovernyan has a very righteous personality, doing what's right often and standing up for his friends. Hovernyan is shown to be very patient, but after awhile he can lose focus of the task he is given. He is also very embarrassed about becoming Meganyan.
Background
Hovernyan is put into a shed in order to wait for Nate. Due to the amount of time he spends in said shed, he grows to this size.
