Eric Jackson is a supporting protagonist in the CW show, The 100.

Description
Jackson is a doctor and the assistant of Abby Griffin on the Ark and the ground. Throughout the series, he is calm and hardly ever fights or kills anyone. He is mainly responsible for looking after and healing the wounded he meets. Her mother's death in her arms in the past will be her reason for becoming a doctor in the first place.
History
On the Ark, Jackson takes charge of treating Chancellor Jaha and tries to understand with Abby the reasons why the hundred delinquents are disconnected from the ship. Then, he is one of the survivors of the Sky People who landed on Earth and then resides in Camp Jaha.
In season two, Jackson continues to treat patients. Then, he goes to Mount Weather with Octavia but leaves again after the betrayal of Lexa, helped by Dante Wallace and Emerson.
In season three, he gets busier and busier in Arkadia, also having to heal the Grounders. Jackson is one of the followers of A.L.I.E., the artificial intelligence that caused a nuclear apocalypse on Earth. After the latter's defeat, he is freed from his control, becoming himself again.
In season four, he heals residents in Polis and sets out to Becca Island with a party consisting of Luna, Murphy, Miller, Emori, Abby, and the Arkadia guards. Wounded by A.L.I.E. drones, he then follows the group to Becca's laboratory. He then works there with Abby to find a way to survive Praimfaya's radiations and performs a failed experiment on a Grounder. During the second nuclear apocalypse, Jackson lives in the bunker of the Second Dawn found by Jaha.
In season five, he helplessly witnesses the wars organized by Octavia and has formed a romantic relationship with Miller. He also witnesses the death of Jaha, dying of his wounds from an Azgeda warrior. He then lives in the Eligius IV ship and cryogenizes like his friends.
In season six, Jackson is part of the group visiting Sanctum for the first time. He comforts Miller who blames himself for his actions in the bunker having blindly obeyed Octavia. On Eligius IV, he argues with Abby, obsessed with bringing back Kane, mortally wounded in season five. Along with Raven, he attempts to prevent the Primes from using Abby as a host, but can only watch the disappearance of his closest friend's spirit.
In season seven, Jackson is angry with Murphy for Abby's death and refuses to let him drink in her honor. However, the two work together against the growing threat of Sheidheda, particularly with Clarke and most of their friends gone. Jackson secretly supports Murphy's efforts to protect the survivors of the Dark Commander's massacre and joins the mission to rescue their missing friends, including Miller. After Emori is severely injured in a corridor collapse in the Second Dawn Bunker, Jackson helps to find the Anomaly Stone and to keep her alive until they can get Emori back to Sanctum. Following Emori's death, Jackson reluctantly agrees to Murphy's wishes to implant her consciousness in Murphy's head, resulting in Emori being able to achieve Transcendence along with the rest of the human race. Jackson later chooses to come back along with Miller, Raven, Murphy, Emori, Echo, Jordan, Hope, Octavia, Levitt, Indra and Gaia. Together, they settle with Clarke on the regenerated Earth to enjoy the rest of their lives.
Trivia
- Apart from Clarke, Octavia and Murphy who are Delinquents, Jackson is the only character who appeared in the Pilot of the series and who survived until the finale of this series.
