Dr. Archibald "Archie" Hopper is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. He débuts in the first episode of the first season. He is portrayed by guest star Raphael Sbarge, who also plays Kaidan Alenko in Mass Effect, and his real identity is Jiminy Cricket.
In the Enchanted Forest, he was the son of Myrna and Martin, two con artists who also forced him to steal while they showed puppet shows. He was annoyed of that job. When he grew up, he met a boy who advised him to change his life. He made a deal with Rumpelstiltskin to get a way to stop his parents. He and his parents asked for accommodation, and were received by a couple. Then, he decided to use what he believed it was the substance given by Rumpelstiltskin in his parents, but failed because his parents learned everything before and changed the substance container to one with another substance. When he returned to watch the couple who received them, he watched how they were converted into puppets and fell remorseful, but his parents didn't care. Then, the boy he met some time ago arrived home and cried because they were his parents. For solving the situation, he tried to deal with Rumpel, but failed. Then, he wished to convert the puppets to their human form, but the Blue Fairy claimed that she couldn't reverse Rumpelstiltskin's magic, so he asked to convert into a cricket, because he loved the crickets, and became the mentor of the now orphaned boy, in order to atone.
