Alopex is a supporting character in the IDW comics Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
She is a mutant fox, friend of Angel and martial ninja brute.
Alopex was born in Alaska as a normal arctic fox outside of Fairbanks. From an early age she was peaceful, being the strongest hunter in her pack. Everyone feared her, except a polar bear, which Alopex herself feared. One day she was captured by a group of scientists attempting an experiment to bring other animals to human-level intelligence. They succeeded with Alopex, she first had human intelligence and then a body similar to a human one. Shredder, the leader of the Foot Clan, then kidnapped her and made her an agent of the Foot Clan, thinking that this was her new purpose in her life.
She first meets Raph, and tries to use him, but Raph has already understood her intentions and fights her. Alopex runs away and fights several times. She still missed her family and her home. She eventually becomes friends with Angel and teams up with the Turtles.
