Unicorns are a species of horse with a horn on their foreheads.

On Etheria they are still quite plentiful and have an entire island to themselves. They also have wings. However, on Eternia the unicorn is next to extinct, with only one known specimin known to survive in the Whispering Valley, where it is protected by the Sylani.

When Baron Grod decided he wanted to hunt the last unicorn and put it on display in his trophy room after putting it in a living stasis, Adam and Teela decided to stop him. This eventually led to King Randor passing a new law that made it illegal to hunt endangered species.
