Tilla is the deceased mother of Blitzo and Barbie Wire, and wife of Cash Buckzo, who was first pictured in the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot and later pictured in the main series episode "Ozzie's" .
Appearance
Tilla appeared to be a tall, slim and red-skinned imp with long, shaggy charcoal hair, eyes with red irises and yellow sclera, and a pair of thin white-striped black horns. Like the rest of the all-imp circus, she had a heart-skull marking on her forehead.
In pictures, she is depicted wearing a long-sleeved purple robe-like dress. She also wore a charm that is identical to the one Blitzo wears in present time.
Pilot
In the pilot, Tilla had a similar appearance but had completely black horns, shorter and lighter-colored hair, lighter-colored skin from below the eyes and nose, and white marks on both eyelids and on her chest up to the left of her neck. She instead wore what appeared to be a maroon sleeveless dress with brown-and-white sashes, and brown opera gloves.
Personality
While Tilla appears very little in the series, given the fact that Blitzo remembers her with fondness and mourns her death, it can be said that, in contrast to the manipulative and abusive Cash, she was a gentle, kind and loving mother to both him and Barbie Wire.
Relationships
Family
Cash Buckzo
Cash is Tilla's husband. Her relationship with him is obscure. In "The Circus", Cash convinces Blitzo to burglarize the Goetia family on the grounds that it would benefit their family, mentioning helping him and Tilla. However, while this may suggest that he holds some degree of care for his wife, it's clear that Cash is merely bringing her up as a means to manipulate their son Blitzo. This could indicate that he has no qualms using his children's love for her if monetary gain is promised. While she is shown to care for the children they had together, her feelings for Cash are currently unknown.
Blitzo
Blitzo is Tilla's son. While not having been shown interacting it can be assumed that Blitzo was very close to his mother, as Cash was able to convince him to do what he was told to help his mother. At the end of "Ozzie's", Blitzo ultimately breaks down when he comes across a family photo where he and Barbie Wire gave their mother a birthday card. In "Oops", it is revealed that his mother died in the circus fire, causing Blitzo great trauma over her death, and blaming himself for it as shown in "Ghostf**kers". Blitzo also has been keeping Tilla's skull charm ever since she perished.
Barbie Wire
Barbie Wire is Tilla's daughter. While the two have yet to interact on-screen, it can be inferred that Barbie had a loving relationship with her mother, as in family photos, Tilla often has her arms lovingly around her daughter.
History
Past
At some point during her life, she met Cash Buckzo, with whom she had twins, Blitzo and Barbie Wire.
Fifteen years before the events of "Oops", Tilla perished in a fire that Blitzo accidentally started at Cash Buckzo's circus.[2][1]

Trivia
- The name Tilla is of German origin, which means "Battle strength". It is derived from the name "Mathilda".
- The red skull charm she is shown wearing in pictures is identical to the one that Blitzo wears in present time, hinting that Blitzo's charm came from her.
- The same skull charm is drawn on a part of Blitzo's Boss Goals board in his office in the Helluva Boss pilot.
Development
- Her first appearance was in the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot in a poster in Blitzo's office with a third imp named Barbie Wire, advertising them as "The Amazing Imp Siblings", thus implying that the three were siblings. However, in the official series, the poster was changed to exclude Tilla, and the text was changed to be "The Amazing Imp Twins".
- In the episode "Ozzie's", a female imp with a strong resemblance to Tilla is shown in Blitzo's phone gallery with him and Barbie Wire, who are both holding a card with "happy berth moma" written on it, implying this imp is their mother, which was later confirmed by one of the show's animators.[3] After the release of "Ghostf**kers", an official piece of merchandise used the name "Tilla" for their mother, confirming that the character of Tilla had been moved to be Blitzo and Barbie Wire's mother.[4]
