- 2 March: Steve Mackey, actor who portrayed Donaghan Tremlett in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, dies at the age of 56.
- 7 March: Hogwarts Legacy: The Official Game Guide is published.
- 8 March: Actor Chaim Topol, who voiced Rubeus Hagrid in the Hebrew dub of Harry Potter, dies of Alzheimer's at the age of 87.
- 16 March: Actor Paul Grant, who portrayed a goblin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (film), dies at the age of 56.

- 29 May: Actor Peter Simonischek, who portrayed the Erkstag warder in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, dies at the age of 76.

- 8 August: Actor Barry Huckfield, who played a Muggle in the last two Harry Potter films, dies of motor neurone disease at the age of 53.
- 14 August: Actress Matyelok Gibbs, who played Aunt Muriel in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, dies at the age of 91.
- 27 September: Actor Sir Michael Gambon, who portrayed Albus Dumbledore from the third film onwards, dies of pneumonia at the age of 82.[9]
