History
Post-One Year War
Ricardo Vega was one of Char Aznable's subordinates along with Apolly during the One Year War. He escaped to Axis along with Apolly after the end of the war. During his time at Axis Roberto displayed his excellent piloting skills when he overwhelmed Rakan Dahkaran's platoon during live training. He later served as a mobile suit captain during the Axis civil war. He later left Axis with Char and Apolly to join the AEUG under the pseudonym "Roberto".[1]
Gryps Conflict
One of a pair of veteran Rick Dias pilots who serve as Quattro Bajeena's wingmen. Roberto is a reliable team player, experienced enough to handle almost any combat situation, and perhaps slightly more serious and diligent than his wisecracking comrade Apolly.
After the drop on Jaburo, Roberto accompanies Quattro and his allies to the Kennedy Spaceport in order to return to space. Unfortunately, he is shot down and killed by the Titans while attempting to deflect their attack.
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Define
Roberto survived the battle of Kennedy Spaceport. He later participated in the battle of Kilimanjaro before being shot down by Jerid Messa in his RX-160 Byarlant.[2]

Notes & Trivia
- Despite his history as a Zeon pilot during the One Year War, Roberto wore a Federation uniform with an open jacket during his time with the AEUG when not in combat, presumably to hide the aforementioned history.
- In SRW Z saga, despite living with Apolly they are never mention again despite there short appearance in SRW Z2 and Z2.2 this is most likely due to story reasons as they lost there importance to the overall story.
