Description

Rockridge significantly appeared multiple times in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks, with signage at the Rockridge Community Resource Center confirming the neighborhood's name.^{[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]} The leaked footage showcases several points of interest in the neighborhood, including the Cipher Mall, Fleeca Field football stadium, and various named apartment buildings. Minimap data from the leaked footage also indicates that Rockridge borders an unnamed river flowing through Vice City.^[3]

Influence

Rockridge appears to be based on the Riverside neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The name references a characterization used by the Tatum brothers, one of Riverside's first developers, who advertised the area as "The Beautiful Ridge", due to its verdant, elevated terrain close to the river.
