Buckingham is an American-Canadian vehicle manufacturer in the HD Universe of the Grand Theft Auto series.
Description
Buckingham has a defense contract with the US government to manufacture the Valkyrie and the Pyro. It also has a factory in Canada, where the Maverick is manufactured. Buckingham may also have/had an automobile department, as its logo can be seen in the window of the Luxury Autos dealership in Los Santos. Buckingham also appears to have/had a maritime department, as it manufactures the Tug.
Influence
Buckingham seems to take inspiration from various North American aerospace and defense companies, primarily Bombardier Aviation, Bell Textron, as well as European companies such as Airbus and Rolls-Royce Holdings, the latter of which appears to have influenced its logo.

- The company most likely takes its name from Buckingham, a town in England and the former county town of Buckinghamshire. It may also be a reference to Buckingham Palace in London, the official residence of the monarch of the United Kingdom, which was also depicted in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 and Grand Theft Auto: London 1961.
- The company could also possibly be named after the Canadian town by the same name, since Buckingham is mentioned having a factory in Canada for the Maverick, which was originally designed for military use, but rejected for looking too 'French', the Canadian town is located in Quebec, which is a French speaking province.
