He is a playboy-type of character who used to date Terakado Tsuu but was never serious about the relationship. He was genuinely scared when Shinpachi found out this and leaked his pants.
Appearance
As said by Kagura, he is considered to be very good looking. He has medium toned skin with black hair. A part of his hair is always styled to the left side. He was seen wearing violet sunglasses when he was on a date with Otsuu.
Personality
Like Kawakami Bansai , he appends ござる gozaru, a very olden polite form of speech to the end of his sentences in a pretentious affected manner when speaking to Otsuu, which he does not use when speaking in private to his confidante. He is a playboy.
Story
Otuu's popularity was negatively affected when the tabloids exposed their relationship. Mother Terakado Ichi was so convinced that Goemon (ゴエモン) was up to no good that she staged a series of incidents masked to look like the work of unhappy fans to try to break them up in Episode 30. In Episode 51, Kagura reads in the newspaper that Goemon's marriage appears to have been a shotgun marriage.

- Based on Ishikawa Goemon (石川五右衛門), a famous outlaw who attempted the assassination of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
- The name of his pop idol group is a pun on 2 levels: the first is on the English word 'Handsome', on the kanji level, the characters mean 'against or the opposite of samurai'.
