Lord Asano (アサノ公方, Asano kubō) is an supporting character in Princess Mononoke.
About
He is never seen in the movie. A messenger acts for him.
He is a samurai and a land lord who commands an army of warriors and samurais. His goal is to conquer the Irontown, lead by Lady Eboshi, for his own benefits. As soon as Eboshi leaves the Irontown, accompanied by her army, his army ambushes the town (without any guns). It is unknown if he commands the attack on a village at the forest.
