Play

"Play" (Hangul: 놀이) is the second and the title track from the debut mini album [REC.] by Yuju. It was released on January 18, 2022.[1]

Description

∵ The word play has playful and pleasant vibes, but I thought it was somehow light and empty to use when expressing relationships with people.

When love, which someone considered sincere and put their heart into it, is just a game to the other person, the emotions of one side are just passing fun, while the other is engulfed in the opposite emotions.

Play is a medium-tempo emotional pop track that harmonizes the sound of Gayageum, a traditional Korean instrument, and Western kick, snare drum and string sounds. The combination of the upbeat track and opposing sad lyrics is like a meaningful game.[2]

Composition

It was composed in the key of E minor with a tempo of 98 beats per minute.[4]
