"Blue Nostalgia" is the fifth and last track from the debut mini album [REC.] by Yuju.
Description
∵ I often reminisce about the past.
These habits are sometimes fun and enjoyable, but sometimes they can be a bit burdensome. Sometimes in my dreams, I vividly re-experience the moments I miss, because the moment I realize everything was an illusion right when I wake up, the impact lasts a little longer. The lyrics of this song sequentially lists the time after waking up from the dream, passing through the morning and early evening to the deep night before going to bed. I hope it can give a little sympathy with someone who has experienced something similar. Blue Nostalgia is the first song I recorded with a ribbon microphone. After I happened to become curious about ribbon microphones, I really wanted to try it one day so this became a more precious song to fulfill that wish.
The minimalist pop ballad track, soft guitar riff, string section, and percussive rhythm evoke nostalgia, and the harmony of the sound emphasizes longing, culminating in a dreamy ballad.[1]∵ 나는 과거에 대한 회상을 자주 하는 편이다.
이러한 습관이 재밌고 즐거울 때도 있지만 가끔은 조금 버겁기도 하다. 간혹 그리워하던 순간을 꿈속에서 생생하게 다시 경험하곤 하는데, 깨어난 직후 모든 것이 허상이었다는 것을 깨닫는 순간 그 여파가 조금 오래가기 때문이다. 이 곡의 가사는 그 꿈에서 깨어난 후, 아침과 초저녁을 지나 잠들기 전 깊은 밤까지의 시간을 순차적으로 나열한 내용을 담았다. 혹여나 비슷한 경험을 겪어본 누군가에게 작은 공감이 되길 바라는 마음이다 Blue nostalgia는 태어나 처음 리본 마이크로 녹음을 한 곡이다. 우연히 리본 마이크에 대해 호기심을 갖게 된 후 언젠가 꼭 시도를 해보고 싶었는데, 그 소망을 이루게 되어 더욱 소중한 곡이 되었다.
미니멀리즘 팝 발라드 트랙과 부드러운 기타리프, 스트링 섹션, 퍼커시브 리듬이 향수를 불러일으키며, 사운드의 조화가 그리움을 강조해 몽환적인 발라드의 절정을 이룬다.[2]Composition
