The Mortal Realm or Human Realm (人界, Jinkai, lit. Human World) is part of the multi-verse where humanity exists. In the world of Garo, there are more than one universe where humans exist, this includes the Original Series, Ryūga-verse, VR-verse, and Anime Series.
Description
The mortal realm is one among many dimensional planes, each containing an Earth and humanity. In such worlds, Inga (dark energy from negative emotions) can concentrate and form dimensional rifts; Horrors from the Makai Realm can exploit them by latching onto objects or living beings fueled by this same power. By possessing these unfortunate victims, Horrors can anchor themselves on their world and can feed on humanity. Across these realities, at least four of these worlds are known to be protected by their own Makai Order. While the Makai Order in each reality exists to safeguard humanity, their organization and power structure can differ. As such, the state and organization of each world adapted differently to handle dark forces. Overall though, humanity have remained mostly in the dark about the threat of Horrors and the Makai Order in all their worlds continue to maintain secrecy.
