-DIVINE FLAME- (刻印) is the second episode of GARO: The Carved Seal of Flames.[1]
Synopsis
Even after seventeen years, the witch hunts continue. The goal is to eliminate all the protectors of the people. However, the people they protect can be consumed by darkness, fall to darkness, and consume others as well.[1]
Summary
Father Nicholas murders a lady tied to a chair before he is possessed by a Horror.
Germán Luís enters Garms base and accuses her of sending the Makai Knights to they doom. Garm denies this and blames it on Mendoza. As they finish their discussion, Garm sends Zoro to slay a horror.
Octavia tells Mendoza that Alfonso and Esmerelda have Makai blood.
Germán exits his meeting with Garm to find León having a nightmare about Anna. Germán wakes León up by throwing him in a lake and they leave.
Alfonso defeats an opponent, but is corrected from saying that his opponent took it easy upon him. He subsequently saves a citizen from execution. Esmerelda watches Alfonso before tending to Fernando. Mendoza bursts into the room and accuses Esmerelda of treason.
In town, Germán disappears with a woman as León walks around.
Nicholas interrogates Ema, he decides to leave her to be executed the next day as he asks guards to watch over her.
In the evening Germán and León discuss how Ema is trapped in the room. As they rush to rescue Ema, León does battle with Ezol as Ema joins the battle. As León burns with rage, Germán deactivates the Garo armor, leaving Ema to slay Ezol.
Alfonso is informed of Esmereldas imprisonment by Garcia. As Alfonso rushes to Esmerelda, she tells him to exile himself and liberate the kingdom at a later time.
