Rookie

Rookie is a minor Among Us Logic character. He has appeared in Among Us Logic: Jailbreak and Among Us Logic: The Last Crewmate. He also makes appearances in a few GameToons Gaming episodes

Appearance

Rookie is a blue Among Us crewmate wearing the Sven Svensson hat, which consists of a blue top hat and blond hair.

Personality

Rookie is quite an anxious individual. He can have a hard time speaking up for himself, speaks very quietly and usually doesn’t feel confident enough to talk over people during meetings. He tends to only respond with one word phrases if feeling especially nervous. Rookie is also very polite and respectful towards the people he meets, even if they disrespect him. Rookie is willing to let his curiosity get the better of him sometimes, like when he summoned NoVisor at Mira HQ because he wanted to know if the chant his brother told him about was legit or not. Despite his nervous nature, he is still willing to fight for his friends and make up for his mistakes. He can be very apologetic and stammers if he fears he has upset anyone.

Relationships

Player

Rookie bumps into Player alongside Captain at the lobby while in a panic after summoning the evil ghostly crewmate, NoVisor. Player could see that he was on the verge of a breakdown and asked Rookie if he could assist him in any way, showing concern towards him. During their time together, Player is impressed by Rookie’s bravery in stopping NoVisor and invites him to join himself, Captain and Mr. Cheese at Captain’s lobby to play Among Us together. Upon entering the game in Among Us Logic: Jailbreak, Rookie is paired with Player and entrusts him to show him how things work at The Airship. It’s assumed Player likes having Rookie around, as Rookie isn’t very good at speaking up for himself and will usually let Player order him around and call him names without any pushback. In Among Us Logic: The Last Crewmate, Player is his commander.

Captain

Upon their meeting, Captain was eager to boast to Rookie about his leadership status and fabricated friendship with Player. He also tends to interrupt and speak over Rookie. He was willing to help Rookie with his NoVisor problem once Player showed interest in doing so. Captain was interested in talking with him and Player at The Airship, but their interaction was cut short by Mr. Cheese arresting him for the death of Engineer despite him having no involvement with it.

Mr. Cheese

Mr. Cheese and Rookie met after Mr. Cheese was possessed by NoVisor. Rookie is freaked out initially as Mr. Cheese’s possessed self knew his name despite not being introduced beforehand. After becoming properly acquainted, Mr. Cheese is shown to be particularly passive aggressive with Rookie and attempts to intimidate him with his policeman powers in Among Us Logic: Jailbreak. Mr. Cheese ends up arresting him for being left handed, a jab at the ridiculousness of real world bias towards people with a dominant left hand.

Hunter

Hunter is introduced to Rookie through Captain after he suggests that Hunter was their go-to guy for NoVisor related issues as he dabbles with the paranormal. Rookie immediately respects Hunter once acquainted and refers to him as “sir.”

Mother

Rookie has made a joke at Mother’s expense while playing together but immediately apologizes afterwards, displaying his nervousness and insecurity around new people. He is arrested alongside her in Among Us Logic: Jailbreak.

TheGentleman

TheGentleman and Rookie have played together. He has complimented Rookie’s fashion sense.

Mr. Egg

They're close friends.

Younger brother

Rookie has an unnamed younger brother. He mentions how his brother would always go on and on about the legend of Novisor. He eventually got tired of his brother’s audacity that Novisor was real and became motivated enough to attempt to prove to him that the legend was a complete fabrication. Much to his dismay, his brother was right.
