Style is a keyword granted by skills and certain Emblem effects that allows the unit to change how and/or from how many spaces away it can attack foes using the Style button. For sources of this effect, see the category page Sources of Style.
Skill Interaction
- 【Style】 is only active when the unit takes an action.
- 【Style】 is disabled when using Pair Up, and disables the unit's Duo/ Harmonized skills (if any).
- If a unit has multiple effects with a 【Style】, the unit cannot use any 【Style】.
- 【Style】 cannot be used in Pawns of Loki.
- The Enemy AI can use a 【Style】.

At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants【Empathy】and the following status to unit and allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn: "grants Special cooldown charge +1 per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack)." If unit initiates combat or if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = number of allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit × 3, + 5 (max 14), deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd (excluding area-of-effect Specials), reduces damage from foe's first attack by 20% of unit's Spd ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. Unit can use the following【Style】: ――――― Wind Sword Style ――――― Unit can attack foes 2 spaces away (unit cannot attack adjacent foes). Calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). Unit suffers a counterattack if any of the following conditions are met: foe is armored with Range = 1, foe can counterattack regardless of unit's range, or foe's Range is the same as the distance between unit and foe. After-combat movement effects do not occur. Skill effect's Range is treated as 1, including by skill effects determined by attack Range, like Pavise and Aegis.
