Opossums are creatures found in Appalachia.
Background
Opossums are the mutated descendants of the pre-War North American opossum, found throughout Appalachia.[1]
Characteristics
Opossums have appendages sprouting from their back, two tails, and multiple heads. The placement of their heads vary. The creatures offer a small amount of experience when killed and flee from the player character if they are approached. They will drop opossum meat when killed.
Locations
- Four will always appear east of White Powder Winter Sports, on a cliff, in a clearing.
- Two will always appear outside of the tavern in Flatwoods.
- One will always appear outside Green Country Lodge.
- May spawn at the unmarked sludge trailer, north of the Red Rocket filling station.
- Deceased opossums are located in the Enclave research facility holding cell C02.
- Two spawn at East Mountain lookout.
