Knight Captain Durga is the Brotherhood of Steel quartermaster based out of the Citadel in Fallout 3.
Background
The Citadel's quartermaster, Knight Captain Durga is not entirely pleased with her position in the Brotherhood of Steel, and makes no attempt to hide it in her interactions.[Non-game 1] She is quick and curt with her responses, rushing the Lone Wanderer if they ask to peruse her wares, or responding with a bored "yeah, I suppose" to their request.[1][2] Frustrated with both her role and the secluded location of the armory, she will sarcastically reply with "what else would I be doing back here?" if one asks to purchase gear from her.[3] Instead, her preferences lie outside the Citadel, where she would rather be engaged in field operations and using the armory's weapons, not polishing and cataloging them as she does now.[Non-game 1]
Regardless, she takes her role as quartermaster very seriously, and will adamantly refuse to trade with the Lone Wanderer without Elder Lyons' say-so, immediately ending the conversation and informing them of the elder's instructions forbidding trade with outsiders.[4] If approached again after this, she holds her ground and will direct the Lone Wanderer to take it up with the elder if they have issues with this.[5][6] Durga expresses distrust of non-Brotherhood members, referring to the Lone Wanderer on the initial approach as a "stranger," and declining to use Brotherhood supplies to repair their equipment, instead asking that they pay for the needed parts.[4][7] After viewing her wares or asking her to repair equipment, she does not shy away from ending the conversation by cautioning the Lone Wanderer to "try not to break it, outsider," and may go so far as to call them a "leech," mumbling about how she will inevitably see them again.[8][9] She sees the Lone Wanderer getting Elder Lyons' permission to trade as a favor to them, disgruntledly saying "good for you" if they speak to her after this.[10] Despite her grievances over her role and the responsibilities associated with it, she begins conversations with "quartermaster here" and signs off with "quartermaster out," alongside referring to the armory as her own, proud of helping Elder Lyons maintain a tight ship.[11][6][4]
Unlike most other denizens of the Citadel, she refrains from "archaic" language (the style of speech employed by Brotherhood of Steel members; such as Star Paladin Cross) in favor of more "modern" type speech ("yeah," "gotcha," etc.).[2][9]
Daily schedule
She is located in the backroom of the armory in the Citadel laboratory. She never sleeps at any point of the day, even though a bed can clearly be seen behind her.

Notes
- In the G.E.C.K. editor, Durga is listed as a knight sergeant, however, both the official game guide and the game refer to her as a knight captain.
- Unlike other members of the Brotherhood of Steel, Durga can be killed without repercussions from other members, as they never seem to find out. This may be because, in the storeroom, one is hidden from other members.
Notable quotes
