
Potions are objects in Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, and Fable II that give the user a variety of beneficial effects. Fable III greatly reduces the potions available to three: Health Potion, Slow Time Potion and Summon Creatures Potion.
Fable and Fable TLC
There are few potions in these games. These are:
- Health Potion - Restores health on the health bar.
- Will Potion - Restores mana on the Will bar.
- Ages of Might Potion - Gives Strenght xp.
- Ages of Skill Potion - Gives Skill xp.
- Ages of Will Potion - Gives Will xp
- Elixir of Life - Increases the health bar.
- Will Master's Elixir - Increases the Will bar.
- Resurrection Phial - Prevents death and the game over screen from triggering.
Fable II

Fable III
The potions featured in the game are:
Trivia
- Unlike traditional spells, there is no cool down or any other requirement to utilize potions. As such, they can be spammed repeatedly if needed.
- It is generally unknown how they are consumed during the pressures of combat; the most plausible and accepted theory is that they are injected straight to the bloodstream by some hidden means or mechanisms.
- Potions in Fable III are substitutes for spells like Slow Time and Summoning. This might be because the level of magical ability during the Industrial Age has decreased, forcing remaining magic users to depend on potions.
