The Mage's favourite! This creates a ball of fire in the palm of the caster's hand which flies toward the target when released. Higher levels allow the caster to charge up an extremely powerful fireball that deals a devastating explosive force on impact.

Notes
The Fireball spell takes around 2 seconds to charge. Whether or not you choose to charge it fully is the difference between throwing a small poof of fire and throwing a small bomb, capable of taking out many enemies in one blast of flame.
Each charge of a fireball will increase the damage to the next level, so a user with a level 4 Fireball will still only deal 80 damage if it doesn't charge.
Charging a fireball to levels 3 and 4 will result in some area-of-effect splash damage. This affects friendly and unfriendly targets, so use with caution.
Oddly, the area damage will also knock back the ghost npcs at the Necropolis.
Killing villagers/guards with the explosion won't give you evil points, but requires careful aiming because hitting them directly with the fireball will.

Based on an early build of Fable, the Fireball spell was the first working will ability in the game.
