Park Jong-seong (Hangul: 박종성, Japanese: パク・ジョンソン), more well known by his stage name Jay (Hangul: 제이, Japanese: ジェイ), is a member of the South Korean boy group ENHYPEN. He was born on April 20, 2002.
Career
2020: I-LAND
On June 2, 2020, Jay, along with trainees Geonu, EJ, Jungwon, Kyungmin, and Hanbin via Twitter was revealed as an I-LAND contestant. It was also revealed he had been a trainee for two years and eleven months.[3]
On September 18, 2020, he ranked 2nd place, becoming a part of the official lineup of ENHYPEN.[4]

Part One
Entry Test
For the entry test, Jay performed "The 7th Sense" by NCT U, along with Sunghoon. He received a score of 19/22 (86.4%), therefore passing into I-LAND.
Theme Song
Jay had Part 8 position. He leaves I-LAND and goes to Ground.
Teamwork
Jay had Part 1 (Center) and moved from Ground to I-LAND. Jay and NI-KI became the leaders of the Grounders.
Representative Unit
Jay originally was in the dance unit, but he switched parts with Sunghoon. Fortunately, they received a score of 73, which was higher than the dance Grounders' score, he stayed in I-LAND.
The Final 12
Jay is saved from being dropped to ground, thus, he'll continue on to the second part of I-LAND. Jay had Part 6.

BTS Test
Jay was in the "DNA" unit that ranked second.
Chemistry Test
Jay was in the "Dive Into You" team.
Concept Test
Jay had Part 5 with the song "Flame On".
Final Test
On September 18, 2020, Jay placed 2nd, and became a member of the boy group ENHYPEN.[5]
