Sim Jae-yun (Hangul: 심재윤, Japanese: シム・ジェユン), more well known by his stage name Jake (Hangul: 제이크, Japanese: ジェイク), is a member of the South Korean boy group ENHYPEN. He was born on November 15, 2002.
Career
2020: I-LAND
On June 1, 2020, Jake, along with trainees Sunoo, Sunghoon, Heeseung, K, and Daniel, via Twitter was revealed as an I-LAND contestant. It was also revealed he had been a trainee for nine months.[1][2]
On September 18, 2020, he ranked 3rd place, becoming a part of the official lineup of ENHYPEN.[3]

Part One
Entry Test
For the entry test, Jake performed "Crown" by TXT, along with Sunoo and Youngbin. He received a score of 12/22 (54.5%), passing into I-LAND.
Theme Song
Jake had Part 11. The producers gave him a score of 40, the lowest score from amongst the I-landers. Ultimately, he was voted out of I-LAND and was one of the six participants to be removed to Ground. Unfortunately, a technical difficulty with the mic resulted in Jake not being able to sing his part.
Teamwork
Jake had Part 5 and was moved from Ground to I-LAND alongside four other Grounders.
Representative Unit
Jake was not a representative for any of the units. He stayed in I-LAND.
The Final 12
Jake is saved from being dropped to ground; thus, he continued on to Part 2 of I-LAND. Jake had Part 8.
Part Two
BTS Test
Jake was in the "I Need U" unit, which ranked last of the three units.
Chemistry Test
Jake was in the "Flicker" team. Jake was picked to be ranked first by the producers, and the votes he received in the last 24 hours of voting were doubled.
Concept Test
Jake had Part 4 with the song "Chamber 5 (Dreams of Dreams)".
Final Test
On September 18, 2020, Jake placed 3rd, and became a member of the boy group ENHYPEN.[4]
