The Python is a chain bombshell gunpod. It fires a series of 5 bombs, wired together in a chain. The bombs deal very high damage, but they can be difficult to use effectively.
This is a very rare gunpod, with only one known location in the game.
Location
- Stage 5: in the first half of the stage, just before the mechanical arm section, there is a large transport vehicle that appears briefly in the background. It can only be destroyed with homing projectiles (the Wasp), and once it is destroyed it will drop the Python in your ship's direction. It is more effective to destroy this vehicle as soon as possible, because if it's destroyed too late, you won't be able to reach the gunpod while you move to the next area.
