The Flash is a 80mm rail cannon gunpod, which can pierce anything in the game and does fairly high damage.
It is only found in two different locations, and is considered a secret gunpod.
Locations
- Stage 3: after the Gecko mid-boss, get S. Bonus 3 by destroying the elevator, and destroying every ship that falls out of it afterwards. Once the S. Bonus is achieved, a Flash will fall from the elevator.
- Stage 5: during the Gestell mid-boss, get S. Bonus 2 by knocking it down 4 times, destroying a critical appendage each time (such as its hands or head armor). Each time it falls, it will attempt to hit you with a gunpod crate. When you achieve the S. Bonus, a red crate will fall containing the Flash.
