Overview
The Shotgun is an early-game spread shot weapon that can be made in the Arsenal for 60 iridium. It can be found in the Arsenal's Guns 2 subcategory.
When the Shotgun shoots, it randomly generates a spread of 20 bullets within an 8 degree firing cone in the direction of the player's cursor. Each bullet deals 3.5-5.5 damage to the body or 10 damage to the head per shot.
The Shotgun consumes 5 iridium per shot, and can fire up to 1 shot per second, consuming up to 5 iridium per second. It has a range of 128 studs, slightly more than the SMG and equal to the Pistol, though has an inaccuracy of 8 degrees, making it ineffective at longer ranges.
Appearance
The Shotgun is a semiautomatic shotgun with a thick, medium length barrel and a short body. A spreader is attached to the barrel, with a small drum mag and a short stock attached to the back of the gun. Most of the gun is colored iridium-grey, but some parts like the drum mag are colored the player's teamcolor.

Usage Tips
- The Shotgun is capable of extremely high burst damage, able to kill a full-health player in one or two hits at very close range.
- However, due to its comparatively slow reload speed, guns like the SMG are often able to out-damage the Shotgun.
- The slow reload speed can be compensated for by taking advantage of cover or shooting using other guns, such as the Pistol or Assault Rifle, during the Shotgun's reload.
