Phanuel appears as a light energy blast that is called by Five's song.
After the Intoners were resurrected, Phanuel was able to come in material form.
Ending Paths
Branch A
Five summons Phanuel to fight Zero.
Dito, after betraying Zero in favor of the resurrected Five, summons Phanuel. In retaliation, Cent summons Egregori to halt Phanuel's assault. Phanuel remains in the background of Zero and Five's battle still halted by Egregori.

Phanuel is a giant crab, and thus is strongest in the water. He can stay submerged for long periods of time and can swim with amazing speed. Above the water Phanuel can leap great distances and launch powerful ramming attacks. He can fire high pressured water blasts from the shell on his back. Phanuel's one weakness is that he is helpless while stuck on his back and is completely vulnerable while trying to right himself. He is also weak to fire and cannot defend himself when burned.
