Story
The day after taking over the shrine from the manticore, Illusia is visited by a group of Lithovar tribe dragon worshipers led by a priestess. They offer food and prayer to "the Dragon God", promting Illusia to show himself, intent to pretend to be their god's second coming. When the Lithovars react with speechless shock, Illusia hides in embarrassement. The Lithovars leave the food offerings behind witout further interaction.
The next day Illusia runs into the priestess and her bodyguar in the forest as they are fighiting an avyssos. After the monster is slain, using Telepathy the priestess intorduces herself as Hibi and her bodyguard as Valon. Illusia decides to act as the Dragon God, saving the village from the manticore, diguised as a traveler, and a mass avyssos attack. During this time, Hebi acts as the village's leader ,communicates with Illusia using Telepathy and cares for the injured, including an outsider named Derek, who initially belives the Lithovars are evil, but changes his mind before leaving the village. Illusia then goes to stop the avyssos at their source, before they become uncontrollable.
Afer returning from the avyssos nest, Illusia learns that Hibi had died,[1] likely because of an ousider attack. Valon takes over her duty as leader, while Illusa is forced to look for a new Telepathy user to help with communication.
