Summary

Dora is going to the doctor for her yearly check-up. When she gets there, she and Boots meet a few friends who are sick or injured and learn that getting a shot is not as bad as it looks.

Daisy works as the doctor's receptionist. It is possible that she's going to school to be a doctor and she helps out the hospital after she graduated from college of what Diego said in his Mother's Day episode with the Bobo Brothers.
- This is also her final appearance in the show to date, as well as her only appearance without her younger siblings Alicia and Diego, as well as her parents.
This is the 158^th episode of the show.
This episode premiered exactly 12 years after Sticky Tape.
The Travel Song is replaced by a song about going to the doctor ("We're Going to the Doctor") in this episode.
When Dora and Boots get to the doctor next, Dora asks the viewer what path to take with either the rocks or the flowers, the path with the flowers lead to a bridge which looks a lot like the Troll Bridge, but the Grumpy Old Troll is not seen.
This is the first and only episode Little Piggy stops Swiper with Dora and Boots.
- This is also her final appearance in the show to date, as well as her only time being voiced by Jasmine Ortiz.
This is the first episode where one sees Dora get a needle shot. She was brave and not scared at all, as it was "only a little pinch".
Boots is the only one that doesn't get a check up or anything, however, he still travels with Dora and goes with his friends there anyway, he only mentions about getting stickers.
This is the third episode to feature the Duck Pond after Egg Hunt and Quack! Quack!.
Dora doesn't use Backpack in this episode. Additionally, she doesn't say "We did it" with Map during the song of the same name.
Diego, Alicia, Baby Jaguar, the Bobo Brothers, Isa, Benny, and Tico don't appear in this episode.
The song "Swing Like a Monkey" from the Go, Diego, Go! episode The Bobos' Mother's Day is sung by Dora in this episode. Only this time Dora, Boots, and their friends froze when they see a tree frog blocking their way. Whereas in said episode, Diego and the Bobos froze when a mud bubble almost popped and they didn't get muddy.
Daisy is voiced by Jessica Conde, the voice actress that voiced Sabrina the Snow Princess, cause she sounds similar to her.
This episode is somewhat a sequel to Doctor Dora.
- The only significant difference is that there Dora checks his head instead of his heart, whereas in this episode Boots checks his tail.

Goofs/Errors

When Dora says "Where is he (Swiper) now?", she completely sounds like Kathleen Herles, her Season 1-4 voice actress.
In the book version of this episode, when Dora stands on the weight scale machine, she is barefoot, but in this episode, she is wearing shoes. One should always go on the weight machine while barefoot. However, by cartoon logic, Dora's shoes always come out clean.
It is unkown how Doctor Valdes cured the:
- Little Piggy from tummy ache (she need a probiotic)
- Conejito from stuffy ears (he need ear spray)
- Howler Monkey from sore throat (he need a medicine or sore spray)
- In real life we need to go to the pharmacy to buy those things (however his does not apply here due to cartoon logic)
