Background
On April 5, 2014, Doja Cat shared a 15-second snippet of the song to her Instagram account, captioned "💎⬜️💗⬜️💿⬜️💗⬜️💎", alongside snippets of "DIGGIN YOU". However, this post has since been deleted along with her other posts.
On June 27, 2014, the song was performed at the Stay Dripped event in LA. However, only a 2-second-long clip of the song being performed was shared and the full remains lost.
On August 14, 2015, at the Echo Park Rising event, the song was performed for a second time. Only a 15-second clip of the performance was shared, and the full performance remains lost.
The song being recorded months before the release of the Purrr! EP makes it likely that it was intended for the project. However, also being performed a year after the EP's release, it could've had a second chance at being released, this time on Amala.
