The Nyamiyonga is a character from the Disney+ animated anthology series Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, featured in the episode "Herderboy".
Background
The Nyamiyonga is shown to have red energy all around its body, causing chaos in negatively affecting the energy on not just the cattle but as well as Isingoma and Dushiime often showing a hostile attitude in an extremely aggressive manner as well as running in an agile speed to avoid getting detected in a reclusive way. It is also capable of getting back up after getting stunned for a while such as the case when it was battling the cattle herders.
In spite of its aggression, it is shown to become occasionally distracted when it listens to other noises such as when it hears Ndahura's pet calf mooing, causing the Nyamiyonga to become confused. However, just as Ndahura tosses the receiver inside the Nyamiyonga's body, it causes the red energy to turn into green, causing it to no longer start a negative effect towards the blue energy it passes by.
Physical Appearance
The Nyamiyonga is a massive quadrupedal hyena-like monster with spiky mane protruding from its back. It is also shown to have a pair of glowing red eyes as well as a spiky vine-shaped tongue.
Role in the episode
The Nyamiyonga is first seen hearing the commotion of the cattle herders and Ndahura in the Chwezi Highlands. Later, it arrives at the area where Katono, Isingoma, Dushiime, and Ndahura are at, causing Isingoma's system to glow red as he finds a threat in his system, resulting the blue energy to turn red which not only affects the cattle but also to Insigoma and Dushiime as well, leading Ndahura to go after the creature who captured his pet calf. Just as it attacks Ndahura, Katono defends Ndahura by catching the Nyamiyonga's tail, while Dushiime confronts it in combat, alongside Isingoma who attempt to kill it. However, during the fight, it becomes temporarily stunned and then gets back up planning to fight back. Katono and Isingoma attempt to vanquish it, but the Nyamiyonga retreats to a nearby cave in fear. Ndahura plans to chase after the creature that captured his calf just as he follows the Nyamiyonga into a cave just before the structure above crumbles to block the entrance.
Soon as Ndahura enters, he encounters the Nyamiyonga and confronts it in battle just as he attempts to kill it, only for the spirit to hear Ndahura's calf, feeling distracted. Throughout the battle, the Nyamiyonga prepares to kill Ndahura but the latter tosses the green receiver inside the creature, which causes the receiver to explode and paralyze the creature. All of a sudden, the Nyamiyonga's eyes turn green as Ndahura rides on the spirit just as green receiver stays inside the creature's body just before Ndahura becomes promoted to becoming a cattle herder just as Katono, Dushiime, and Insingoma praise him for defending the cattle and being a hero.
