Dushiime is a character from the Disney+ animated anthology series Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire, featured in the episode "Herderboy".
Background
Dushiime serves as one of three Herders alongside a robot named Isingoma and their leader Katono. He follows Katono's orders to harvest the Chwezinite as the Chwezi Highlands followed by Isingoma who is tasked to scan if there are evil spirits. Nicknamed the Mighty-Mouthed Herder, he is shown to be the mightiest of the three Herders who is capable of fighting against evil spirits which according to him, he defeated twenty evil spirits with a single blade of grass and is capable working alongside Katono and Isingoma in helping harvest the Chwezinite and protecting the cattle; ever since the arrival of a teenage boy named Ndahura, he proved to be one of the three herders in an attempt to protect the cattle. However, to Ndahura's confidence after he saved the calf that was caught by the Nyamiyonga, he convinced Katono that the choices a herder makes affects every single cattle, leading her to promote Ndahura to becoming a herder boy just as Dushiime, Isingoma, and Katono praise him for being a good cattle herder.
Role in the episode
Dushiime is first seen harvesting the cattle at the Chwezi Highlands commanded by Katono alongside Isingoma. As Isingoma scans to detect any evil spirits, Dushiime tells Isingoma to cancel the scan, only for Katono to deny that all three herders must follow the protocol to make sure the cattle are all safe, which Isingoma reports to Dushiime and Katono that there are no evil spirits detected. Later, Dushiime, Katono, and Isingoma hear the commotion where Ndahura is at. As Katono approaches him, Ndahura replies to them that he can defend the cattle herders and their cattle for generations; Dushiime tells Katono that Ndahura has his own medals, telling him that the cattle do not have any threats around them, telling him that he once defeated twenty evil spirits with a single blade of grass. However, when the Nyamiyonga arrives, Dushiime and the cattle are negatively affected by the creature's red energy, alongside Isingoma, leading Ndahura to go after the spirit that attacked the cattle. Dushiime later takes on the Nyamiyonga in battle, alongside Katono and Isingoma and as the Nyamiyonga retreats into a cave, Ndahura risks himself to fight off the spirit that attacked his calf.
Later after Ndahura escapes with the Nyamiyonga whose eyes are turned green, Dushiime, Isingoma, and Katono realize that Ndahura is alive after all due to the green receiver effectively changing the Nyamiyonga's mind. Later when Ndahura tells Katono that the choices a herder makes affects every single cattle, he becomes promoted for being a good cattle herder just as Dushiime, Katono, and Isingoma praise him for being a good cattle herder. Afterwards, Katono tells Dushiime and Isingoma to get back to work.
