Ma Pines

Caryn "Ma" Pines is a minor character in Gravity Falls. She only appeared in "A Tale of Two Stans". She was the mother of Stan and Ford Pines and the wife of Filbrick Pines

History

In the 1960s, Mrs. Pines lived in Glass Shard Beach, New Jersey, where she worked as a phone psychic, a vocation greatly aided by her pathological need to lie.

Season 2

Stan's mother makes several appearances in his flashbacks throughout the episode. She is seen working as a phone psychic and meeting with the Pines twins' principal about Ford's future, during which she expresses concern for their "free spirit", Stanley. She also asks what is happening when Filbrick kicks Stanley out of the house.
