DIG DUG II (ディグダグII) is the follow up game and sequel to DIG DUG. This time taking place on tropical islands instead of being underground in The Plains. In later titles DIG DUG II is referred to as "The Southern Island Operations".
Development
DIG DUG II was developed by Namco Development Division 1, who was a part of NDD1 is currently unknown. The lead composer of DDII was Junko Ozawa with Yuriko Keino assisting (She composed music for the first DIG DUG game). The game was developed on the Namco Super Pac-Man Hardware
