Void Edge is a legendary sword. It can be dismantled to generate Glimmer, Weapon Parts, and Legendary Marks.

Void Edge can be retrieved from one of the following activities/vendors:

	Quest
	This item can drop as a Quest reward from A Broken Will.

	Crucible Handler
	Lord Shaxx, the Crucible Handler, sometimes sells this item in the Tower.

	The Taken King
	This item requires the Taken King expansion.

Void Edge can be upgraded with the following perks:

	Void Edge
	This weapon deals Void damage.

	Sword Strike
	Use RT to attack with the sword.

	Infuse
	Consume a more powerful Weapon to boost the Attack value of this Weapon.

	Tempered Light
	Increased Armor when wielding the sword.

	Scabbard
	Increases Sword Ammo Capacity

	Void-Forged Guard
	Use to guard. Effective against Arc and Solar attacks, less effective against Void attacks.

The guard function for this sword provides substantial damage resistance, capable of keeping a Guardian alive when Crota uses his Oversoul in the Crota's End Raid,^[1] and Skolas's Devouring Essense in the Prison of Elders challenge Skolas's Revenge,^[2] provided they are actively blocking.
