Akiba is a district in Tokyo, Japan. It is home to Sotokanda Literature High School, and its Denonbu club.
Background
Under Japan's new ward division plan, the areas of Akihabara and Kanda in present-day Japan are collectively named "Akiba". There are still electronics shops and anime shops, but additionally the area has become a place for the study and development of Japan’s system infrastructure. As a result of the gradual increase of telecommuting due to modernization, the area has become more populated as a residential area.

Fardraut
Fardraut (ファードラウト) is an arcade run by Kazune's family in Akiba, doubling as her home. Hidaka Model Shop, Reina's home, is in the neighbourhood.[1][2] The name Fardraut is a reference to the Namco game Xevious.
