History

Sometime in the past, Evbejia was founded as a small town in a forest in the Mirg Shield-Nation.[2] The town eventually became renowned for its grapes and wine,[?] and was connected to a highway.[2] For the past 4 generations, the settlement has been ruled by the Baronet family of Bestero.[?]

The dark elf Darcia sought refuge in the forest, where she gave birth to Vandalieu in a hidden cave sometime in June.[2] Six months later, in December, Darcia is captured by the Five-colored Blades and handed over to the Vampire Hunter Gordan, who tortured and publicly burnt her at the stake as a witch.[6]

A year after Darcia's execution, her dhampir son exacts his revenge on the townspeople, by turning much of the settlement's infrastructure - such as their outer wall, the earth of the fields and vineyards, along with the crops and trees that were growing on them, and all remaining physical structures inside the town - into golems. The barrels of wine in the warehouse were ruined and yeast that preserved them was also eliminated.[3]

After the insident the whole town industry had been obliterated and It would take decades to rebuild it.[3]

Following the catastrophe, the citizens begun rebuilding the town.[7] The Adventurers' Guild sent E-class adventurers to carry out human wave tactics in order to defend the town, and the country's government dispatched renowned mages and adventurers to investigate the incident.[7]

Trivia

  • The town became renowned across the Amid Empire as the town of the mysterious incident, as a result of Vandalieu's vengeance.[3]
