Gerard F. "Gerry" Conway (born September 10, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American comics writer. He is best known for his Marvel work Punisher (co-created with Ross Andru) and Amazing Spider-Man, in which he wrote of the tragic death of Gwen Stacy. With DC, he's best known for creating Firestorm and working on Justice League of America for 8 years. He has also contributed stories to several long-running television series.
