The Underworld is a realm that exists in the Post-Flashpoint Multiverse and is located inside the metaphysical plane of existence known as the Sphere of the Gods.
History
Like all the realms in the Sphere of the Gods, the Underworld has a companion realm that serves as its polar opposite. In the Underworld's case, its companion is Skyland.[1]
The Underworld includes all the lands of the dead and prison dimensions believed in by the ancient cultures of the planet Earth, as well as the Phantom Zone of Krypton.
On New Earth, Siobhan McDougal was sent to the Underworld for centuries after her brother interrupted her Banshee ritual. Eventually, the Crone bestowed her the powers of the Silver Banshee so that she could extract her revenge on her brother, also testing her.[2][3]
On Future State, Yara Flor, along with her friend Caipora, travels to the Underworld to rescue one of her Themysciran sisters from the clutches of Hades, the Olympian god of the dead.[4]
