Matt Wagner (b. October 9, 1961) is a writer.
Professional History
Matt Wagner is an American comic book creator. He began his career in 1982 working for Comico in the title Primer. His first published work for DC Comics was the 1985 Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #6. He is probably best known for his work on Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight and Sandman, both works earned him Eisner Awards nominations.
Most recently, he has been working for Dynamite Entertainment and its imprint Vertigo on titles as Django/Zorro and The Shadow: Year One.
Personal History
Wagner is married to Barbara Schutz. They reside in Portland, Oregon.
