Creature Commandos

The Creature Commandos are a special military unit under Project M composed of supernatural monsters. Their original membership during World War II included the Frankenstein-esque Elliot Taylor, human leader Matthew Shrieve, gorgon Myrra Rhodes, vampire Vincent Velcro, and werewolf Warren Griffith.

The modern incarnation of the team operates in the present day as agents of S.H.A.D.E., with Frankenstein as their leader.

The Creature Commandos were created by J.M. DeMatteis and Pat Broderick, first appearing in Weird War Tales #93. (1980)
