Burnside is a Gotham City neighborhood located across the Gotham River. Barbara Gordon moved there when she needed to take a break from Gotham.
History
The neighborhood is connected with Gotham City Chinatown in Downtown Gotham via the Burnside Bridge (formerly known as Brown Bridge).[1]

- Prior to the New 52 reboot, the area that now comprises Burnside was considered part of Sommerset Township.[2]
Trivia
- Burnside also exists in the continuity of the 2019 movie Joker. Production designer Mark Friedberg included Burnside on the subway map for Gotham City that appeared in the final version of the film.[3][4]
