The Savage Lair is a minor location in Darkwood located in the Silent Forest.

Appearance

The Savage Lair is a dark area surrounded by large rocks and tight foliage. The area is divided in half by a fallen tree that "appears to be chewed". There is a series of holes, scattered around the Lair. At least one of them contains a body, on which the Protagonist will comment while examining it.

There are two articles of clothing laying on the ground, one with Rags and the other one with the Cross. A Shiny Stone can also be found on the North side of the fallen tree.

There is a live savage burying himself in one of the holes, he is not aggressive and will not attack the player. There are also two passive rock-throwing savages in the area that will run away as soon as the player gets close to them, but they may return after a while. They will turn aggressive if the player attacks them.

Trivia

• This area is marked on the Player Map with the same scribbles as the Markings location, found in the Dry Meadow and the Swamp.
