Virginia (nicknamed Choo Choo) is a grey tender engine who lives at Kahlville. She first appeared in Sir Allen's Training Day.
Technical Details
Basis
Virginia is based on the Southern Pacific 4-4-2 A-3 "Atlantic" built by ALCO for the Railway. They were used for passenger services until Dieselisation, leading to all the A-3s to slowly fade into retirement in the 1950's. Currently, only one of the A-3s has survived into preservation: A-3 #3025 which is displayed at the Travel Town Museum in Los Angeles, CA.

Livery
Virginia is painted grey with black wheels and lining, a brass whistle and bell, and a yellow nameplate.

Trivia
- Virginia originated from the book "Choo Choo: The Story of a Little Engine Who Ran Away"; her appearance was based on an animated adaptation from "Shelly Duvall's Bedtime Stories". As the title suggests, she was originally named 'Choo Choo'.
- Virginia is named after by the creator "Virginia Lee Burton", who also created Mike Mulligan and Mary Anne. This is possibly to avoid confusion between her and Pufle, who still carries his initial name 'Choo-Choo' on his nameplate.
- Virginia was initially the first Fantasyland and Fairytale Railway Traction Company Limited character not to be modeled by Soeren Hermansen. However, from Dusty vs. Percy! onwards, a rebuilt model by Soeren would be used.
- She is one of sixteen engines currently of the fleet to be given a name specific to Crotoonia. Of these, she is the only one to have a different name prior.
