Liu Xiening (Chinese: 刘些宁; Korean: 류셰닝), also known as Sally (샐리) is a Chinese singer and actress under Shiny Season Entertainment. She is a former member of the project girl group Bonbon Girls 303 and South Korean girl group gugudan.
She made her solo debut on February 21, 2020, with the digital single "留些绽放的时间".
She is known for being a contestant on the reality survival show Produce Camp 2020.
Career
2016-2020: gugudan, solo debut with "留些绽放的时间"
On June 23, 2016, she was revealed as the seventh member of the South Korean girl group gugudan.[1] The group officially debuted on June 28 with their first mini album Act.1 The Little Mermaid.
On February 21, 2020 she made her solo debut with the digital single "留些绽放的时间".
2020-2022: Produce Camp 2020, Bonbon Girls 303
She participated in the Tencent reality survival show Produce Camp 2020 which first aired on May 2, 2020. On July 4, she placed 6th on the final episode, thus becoming a member of the project girl group Bonbon Girls 303. The group made their debut on August 11 with the EP The Law of Hard Candy.
On December 30, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that gugudan would disband the following day after four years together, though she would remain with the agency for promotions within South Korea.[2]
On July 24 2022, Bonbon Girls 303 disbanded after the contract had ended. She returned to T Entertainment to continue her promotions as a singer and solo artist.
On February 24, 2023, Jellyfish Entertainment announced their decision to end their exclusive contract with Sally.[3]
