The Black Tortoise was a Floating Fortress deployed by the Empire of the Rising Sun during the Third World War. An Allied fleet was en-routed to the Imperial capital city of Tokyo, but was repelled by Naomi and a classified Imperial Commander.

The Black Tortoise was deployed in the Pacific and repelled an Allied fleet en-route to Tokyo. It was moved to the west coast of the United States and used it to launch an attack on Santa Monica's cultural centers.
