Barrier

Barrier is the second Tech learned by Magus in Chrono Trigger. It consists of increasing the magic defense of an ally, reducing the magical damage caused by enemies temporarily.

Magus performs his spell and small green spheres collide with each other around the chosen character or himself. While the Barrier effect is activated, the affected character glows green,

Trivia

• Barrier is the only support technique that Magus possesses, as all the other single techniques he has are offensive.

Notes

• It is the second technique to be learned by Magus, noting that Lightning II, Fire II, and Ice II are already available when he joins the player's party.
