In the northwest of Sandpolis if visited at night, a UFO will appear. Entering the yellow beam it produces will drag the protagonist into the ship, meeting an 'alien'. The alien speaks in computer symbols, unable to speak the native language. It speaks in completely a different language made entirely of *, !, -, ..., ?, and % characters. The protagonist can respond to the Alien's question with either dialogue choices provided. After choosing one of them, it provides the protagonist the UFO Pattern. Upon leaving, the protagonist is rewarded with Stamp 99.
Trivia
- The UFO speaks in a language using computer symbols. Unfortunately, the meaning of the symbols used in such a manner is gibberish and has no translation.
- Richard, a resident of Sandpolis (Light blue 50's Vintage Chrysler), talks about seeing a UFO.
- The UFO flies away after 6:30AM and disappears, perhaps because the Audi alien does not wish to be seen by other Choro-Q inhabitants in broad daylight.
- You will get the UFO Pattern regardless of which dialogue option you choose.
- From 17:00, a UFO can be seen descending from the sky and hovering around in a circle for a whole in-game hour before it finally stops and opens it's yellow tractor beam.
- At 6:30, the UFO can be seen flying upwards into the sky, before disappearing after reaching a certain height. The UFO will remain in the sky, and return every night on the same schedule.
- The UFO is one of the few characters that do not have any differences between the NTSC-U English Dialogue and the PAL-English Dialogue.
- There appears to be unused dialogue found within the game files that appears to be a variant of default dialogue.
- "*!!!*!!!*!*----!!!!*!*!*!"
